The inaugural Nova Star Scholarship Pageant was a tremendous success. The six contestants truly exemplified leadership, school spirit, and a commitment to their FIU community. A total of $4800 in scholarships was awarded to the winners and contestants. Also, the Master of Ceremonies (MC’s), Ingrid B. and Jamal Morrison, did an excellent job of transitioning throughout the night and keeping the audience engaged.
